Thanks for the input. I was able to to highlight and copy text in the link you sent without any problem. The highlighter and copy function worked as it always has when copying text, just highlight the text, right click, and the copy command box appears. There was not a special box that appear when hovering the pointer. When I tried this same maneuver in the PDF I have you can highlight the text but when you right click a box appears with four icons allowing you to do different functions but the icons are dulled out and cannot be clicked on. The brochure in the link you sent appears different from the PDF I have so I wasn't sure if the brochure is a PDF or not. Since I've checked everything out that was suggested and the Edge I have seems to be the latest version and functioning as it should the issue I'm experiencing is probably due to the fact that the PDF I have has restrictions on it. If it does have restrictions I'm not savvy enough to be able to tell. In researching the subject I discovered that when Edge was introduced it could read PDFs but didn't have the highlight and copy functions among other things. When the Fall Creator Update was issued it was supposed to add these type of capabilities along with many other things to Edge. Since I haven't used Edge very much I'm not that familiar with it and I just wasn't sure if the Fall Creator Update had been installed. Since I have the latest updates the Fall Creator should be a part of the Edge version I have. I do know from other posts that the Fall Creator Update has been having various issues. I thought I might be experiencing one of these issues. Until I can try the Edge on another PDF I won't know if everything is working as it soon.
